Brakes Coppice Park, a beautiful campsite situated in a secluded valley at the heart of the stunning 1066 Country (ideally situated between Battle and Hastings in East Sussex). Its camping fields are surrounded by our own private woodland which is beautiful and open for exploration.
We have three camping fields; the main field is the largest and contains the toilet block (newly extended and renovated in 2010 and further improved for 2011); the second field is where you will find our small fishing lake and the third is for family camping and available in peak season only.
On-site facilities include:
Electric hook-up pitches all with their own TV aerial points (providing 8 channels including CBeebies at digital quality).
Many pitches have hard standing (main field only).
Fully Renovated for 2011 Season
Full toilet block with separate disabled facilities. All hot water is provided free, including showers. Hot water is available 24 hours a day.
Small coarse fishing lake on site for campers' exclusive use (free for 2010 season).
Laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron (all coin operated) with disabled access.
Children's adventure play trail which all ages can enjoy (very young children may require parental assistance).
Beautiful woodland for spotting wildlife, walking dogs on the Dog trail and for children to explore. (Wildlife at Brakes Coppice Park).
A small shop providing a supply of basic essentials, sweets, ice-creams, newspapers (to order and paid for in advance), camping and Calor gas and a free freezer packs service.
A well stocked Tourist Information Point.
Dogs are welcome.
Wardens on site 24 hours a day.

Directions
By Car
From Battle High Street, follow the A2100 towards Hastings for approximately 2 miles. Turn right into Telham Lane (sign posted Crowhurst). Continue into Forewood Lane. Brakes Coppice Park's entrance is 1 mile on the left. Continue down our private lane to
the reception.
By Train
From Crowhurst station (on the London-Hastings line) climb the platform stairs and head away from the car park where you will see a pathway (near southbound platform). Walk along the footpath towards Forewood Lane, when you reach the road, turn right and the entrance to our lane is about 4 minutes walk on the right. It takes around 10-15 minutes to walk to our campsite from Crowhurst station.
