A large site in the Soar valley, for families and individual couples. Located next to the river Soar with plenty of space for camping and touring caravans as well as holiday statics, boat moorings and fishing. Basic facilities, but plenty of space to relax and enjoy the Leicestershire countryside.
On site there is a Club House which is open on Friday and Saturday evenings from 8 pm. From the entrance of the site it is a short (3-4 minute) walk to the centre of Barrow which has a selection of shops, pubs, takeaways, a super market and a library.
Touring or camping pitches with electric hookups are provided near to the entrance with easy access to the village of Barrow upon Soar. For the more hardy there is the opportunity to set up in the fields away from the services, but amongst the wildlife.
The site also has its own fishing lake which is open year round.

By Bus:
From Loughborough.
By Car:
From the North:
(Loughborough) follow A6 towards Leicester and take turning for Barrow upon Soar and follow signs to Barrow. Turn right immediately after the bridge over the river.
From the South:
Take the A6 towards Loughborough turning off at the SECOND exit for Barrow upon Soar and follow signs to Barrow. Turn right immediately after the bridge over the river.
2009 season overnight charges
Touring caravans, tents, motor homes: £14.00 per night inc. up to 2 adults.
Extra Adults: £4.00 each.
Under 18yrs (accompanied by adults): £2.50.
Under 5yrs: £1.50.
Day visitors: £3.00 per car (inc. up to 2 adults).
Fishing (Dawn till dusk): £3.00 per rod.
Arrive by 8.00pm.
