Nigel and Pat welcome you to Serenity Caravan Park, we are a Predominately Adult Site, children staying with us are respectfully advised that we do not allow ball games, Frisbees, kites ect on site, as peace and quiet being our theme.
We are situated in the village of Hinderwell on the A174 Whitby to Middlesbrough Road, 8 miles north of Whitby, one mile from the pretty village of Runswick Bay and two miles from the fishing port of Staiths with its historic link with Captain Cook.
We are situated in the village centre, hidden away from the main road, the site has twenty electric hook ups in the touring/ motor home field, three of which are fully serviced.
Within the separate camping area are five hook ups for campers and ample space for non-electric camping.
The Toilet, shower and laundry facilities are centrally located, comprising, washer, drier, spinner, iron, microwave, Fridge freezer, and pot washing.
A new Barbeque area has been added situated adjacent to the wildlife pond.
We have two touring caravans for hire.
The village has two Pubs, a Post Office, Chippie, Hairdressers and Butchers, all within easy walking distance.
The Cleveland Way Walk passes within half a mile from Serenity.
Runswick Bay with its sheltered sandy beach is a twenty-minute walk from site.
The famous Heartbeat country is a short drive from Serenity.
A very good bus service passes by the site running between Whitby and Middlesbrough.
Calor Gas is available from reception; we also provide a battery charging service.
