A family run camp site, with basic, but good facilities. Nestled under the famous Tennyson Downs and within an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,the views of which can be appreciated from the site.
The campsite is a good base for walkers, cyclists or beach lovers. The owners live on site in a 400 year old farmhouse, which took its name from the breeding of Stoats, long ago, to sell to local farmers.
The site is within easy reach of all the West Wight beaches and the well known Alum Bay, with its multi-coloured sands, and the Needles rocks.
The facilities include; toilet and shower block with hot and cold water (free of charge) washing up area, covered and lit, elsan disposal point, disabled toilet, a small on-site shop with fresh produce daily and a small laundrette within.
