A small Camping & Caravan Club site on a smallholding located within the wooded landscape of Netherby Estate, taking a maximum of 5 vans. This is a backwater land, which is more tranquil and much quieter than the congested Lake District. We are conveniently situated within 10 miles of the M6 & M74.
We have chickens, an extensive vegetable garden (bring a hoe !) and friendly sheep. Stay for a while to explore the Border country or use us as a handy stop over for excursions further north, the Solway Firth or the Northern Lakes.
Our own lamb and eggs for sale when available.

Directions
Head for Longtown on the A7 from J44, M6 from south or J45, M6 from north. On main road through Longtown turn at the Spar / Bush Hotel and take road to Netherby/Penton for 3 miles.
Moat Vale is third house on left after a big dip in the road, immediately after the 30mph sign at Kirkandrews Moat Village sign.
