Our campsite is set within 350 acres of beautiful parkland, offering the beauty and tranquility of a woodland forest setting.
With plenty of activities for the children including a toddlers area, adventure playground, sand pits, slides, crazy golf , a nature trail maze and a host of other play equipment to climb in, on and through as well as miniature railway (£1 extra), all FREE to campers, there's plenty to keep the kids amused.
There are 4 nature trails to follow which offer you the closest contact with nature at large and of course our herd of Red and Fallow deer.
Being a family site, children of all ages are welcome. The play areas within the Country Park may be used when it is closed to the public. However, parents are reminded that ALL children must be supervised at all times and there is NO swimming or paddling permitted in the lakes.
As the facilities are particularly popular with families, for Bank Holidays and weekends, we advise prior booking as early as possible.
Dogs are welcome but should not be left unattended and they must be kept on a lead on the campsite.
Within the Park, there is a cafe and shop serving hot and cold snacks as well as basic camping necessities. Within a short drive there are local pubs for evening meals with a choice of take-aways from a village 5 miles away.
Our campsite is an ideal touring base for Hampshire, Berkshire and the South, and is easily reached from major motorways (M3 & M4). The campsite is situated between Reading and Basingstoke and between them, they offer fantastic shopping facilities, cinema's, indoor swimming pools, ice skating and a host of cafes and restaurants.
Within 5 miles of the campsite are golf courses, tennis courts and horse riding facilities.
The coast is an hour away as is London and the historic cathedral cities of Winchester, Salisbury, Windsor Castle, and the University town of Oxford.
The nearby location of the New Forest, Newbury and Windsor racecourses and many visitor attractions including Legoland, Chessington and Thorpe Park provides our guests with a superb variety of activity.
For guests travelling to or from Europe, we are a convenient distance from the Channel ports.
