We are a small and friendly certified campsite set in a peaceful location on a traditional working farm of 120 acres. The site has wonderful views to the Welsh Hills and the Wigmore Valley.
The farm offers direct access to many miles of footpaths and trails in the Mortimer Forest without the need to go along roads. The forest is a popular venue for mountain biking and there is a downhill course within 1 km of the campsite.
We are only 3 miles from the historic town of Ludlow and the River Teme. The town boasts a Norman Castle and many Tudor and Georgian houses. Ludlow is also known for its pubs and restaurants.
The farm is being managed sensitively to encourage a rich diversity of wildlife. Species seen recently include Roe Deer, Fallow Deer, Red Kites, Dormice, Tawny Owls, Palmate Newts, Slow Worms, Orchids, Fritillary Butterflies, several species of bat and many others.
