Dinas Farm, a completely unspoilt and uncommercialised camping and touring site, is situated on the banks of the River Ogwen. It enjoys an entirely sheltered setting amongst woodland.
The site is a small family run site ideal for anyone who is looking for that 'get away from it all' break and a totally peaceful setting. The site is on a convenient bus route and is easily accessible from the main A5 and A55 routes (leaving at Junction 11).
It is centrally situated for all outdoor pursuits, including beaches, fishing and mountaineering. Although only two minutes from the A5 and A55, the site is 'well hidden' and extremely private.
On site there is a toilet block with free hot and cold water, flushing toilets, washing up facilities, showers, a children's play area which consists of swings, a slide, a sand-pit, rocking horse and basket-ball net, and an expanse of well kept grass, giving the feeling of fresh air and space. There are many beautiful large trees on site which provide a lovely shaded and sheltered area for camping.
The River Ogwen runs through the site and is extremely picturesque. It is well stocked with fish all year round and fishing is allowed on site with a permit which is obtainable locally.
There are shops nearby where everyday necessities are easily purchased, and further afield are large supermarkets and many good shops. There is an abundance of good pubs and restaurants in the area, and any details you may require regarding these and also brochures on local attractions, are freely available from the cottage on site.
Dinas Farm is situated in an ideal position making it an excellent base for exploring Snowdonia and Anglesey.
