A family run Mountain Farm campsite.
Ideally situated for walking and enjoying the Snowdonia countryside. Walk Snowdon straight from camp, and many other mountain or moorland walks. Fantastic views from camp of the surrounding mountains.
There are all the modern well kept campsite facilities, showers, laundry, electric points etc., centrally placed at the reception.
Friendly staff available to help you out, and give directions and guidance on suitable walks etc.
The campsite is actually in Llanberis itself, giving campers freedom and choice of pubs and places to eat. Being only half a mile down the road, its just a 5 minute walk away from the main village centre, ideally sited for exploring this ever popular town.
We are situated in one of the more rugged, yet beautiful areas of Wales. With miles of freedom at our doorstep, or rather gateway, you can choose to explore the mountains and moors or go for the plentiful tourist attractions. Snowdon Mountain Railway, Lakeside Train, Hydro Electric Mountain, Slate Museum, Dolbadarn Castle, all within walking distance.
It is part of a mountain farm which farms welsh mountain sheep and mixed breed beef cattle. The sheep graze on Moel Eilio, which can be walked straight from camp, you are welcome to explore all around the upper farmland, and the surrounding area. The history of the farm, as with the Snowdonia area in general, stretches back over hundreds of years, with Roman mines and stone circles dotted all over the land.
