We are located within easy reach of the North Norfolk Coast (a must for any keen bird watcher) and the Norfolk Broads, which offers a host of leisure activities and attractions for all ages. We are local to the Market Town of Aylsham, which is only five miles away where you will find Supermarkets, Banks, a Post Office and a variety of shops.
The Historic City of Norwich, which surrounds a splendid Castle, is approximately seven miles away and has extensive shopping facilities as well as many fine Pubs and Restaurants.
Many local pubs and restaurants can be found within 5 miles of Cobbleacre, you will find variety of establishments each with something different to offer.
There is an abundance of wild life at Cobbleacre. As well as the usual birds and animals, you are likely to see, Deer, Foxes, Owls, Kingfishers, Kestrels, and Woodpeckers, (Badgers have been sighted but extremely rare maybe you'll be lucky).
Visitors who are not anglers, and are looking for a quiet base from which to explore our tranquil piece of the English countryside are most welcome.

Directions
From Norwich:
Head for the A140 (past Norwich Airport) towards Cromer and Aylsham.
Pass the Airport on your right and continue on the A140 towards Aylsham and Cromer for approximately 7 miles. You will see a sign for Hevingham village on your left hand side and then a pub called 'The Fox' on your right, take an immediate left after the pub down 'The Street'. Follow this road for approximately 800 yards and then take your first left onto 'Brick Kiln Road'. Follow the road and round the 'S' bend. The lakes are on the left approx 100 yards, look out for the sign. Follow the drive through the big white gates and carry on until you come to the Tackle shop
